Te Mania Berkley - the standout sire in Australian Angus. His performance data can only be described as exceptional. From a moderate birth weight EBV of +4.3 he follows through to explosive growth EBV’s that reach +126 at 600 days and carcase data that puts his Long Fed CAAB index at +$148.

His fertility and calving ease direct EBV’s are equally outstanding. He also has a very quiet temperament and super sound structure – his first calves at Hazeldean are very impressive. Berkeley has more than 1000 progeny analysed.

He was purchased for a record Australian Angus sale price of $65,000 in November 2010 which was subsequently eclipsed in 2011 by one of his sons who sold at auction for $91,000.

Lawsons Tank. We purchased Tank in early 2011 and are excited to see his first progeny hit the ground next year.

He is the perfect package with low birth weight and excellent 200-600 day growth. His carcase EBV’s are at the top of the breed and his Long fed index in the top 5%. His Dam is by BON VIEW NEW DESIGN 1407 and on his sire side his grand sire is G A R PRECISION 1680. Tank is included in the Angus Sire Benchmarking Program.

Hazeldean TheodoreY1282 is a son of Booroomooka Theo out of a Hazeldean Cow (W388 with the great Renaissance in her pedigree). He was selected by Bob Dent of Angus Australia as an entrant into the Young Sire Program. After many entrants from a large number of studs TheodoreY1282 was chosen as one of a handful of bulls with the most promise to further the genetic progress of the breed.

Y 1282 continues to excite us with his excellent set of numbers and is very well balanced. Genestar tested for tenderness with 2 forms of the gene.
