The Hazeldean Senegus herd is now based at our Riverina property, Rosevale at Hay.

The breeding herd is now around 300 females who produce the bulls for sale at our Hazeldean Northern Performance Bulls Sale at Jackson in Queensland each August.

Semen from the world's foremost Senepol sires has been used through Artificial Insemination over selected Hazeldean Angus females to produce Senegus cattle.

The bull calves from this program contain the very best Angus genetics together with those of the Senepol, thereby having a distinct advantage and application to commercial breeding operations focused on increased meat quality and higher value carcases as part of their breeding goals.

The feedback we receive from clients in the hotter parts of the country is invariably positive, reinforcing our own experience with the Senepol breed and the great contribution it can make to northern beef production programs.
