Cooma/Monaro

Hazeldean has three properties in New South Wales, two in the Monaro region of south eastern NSW near the town of Cooma (Hazeldean and Myalla) and one near Adelong, (Springdale).

Cooma is the headquarters of the business and holds the main breeding unit for Hazeldean Angus and Hazeldean Merinos.

Airports
Qantas flies daily to Cooma. There are daily flights from all capital cities to Canberra Airport. Hazeldean is 20 minutes from the Snowy Mountains/Cooma Airport which is all weather and has lights. For privately chartered aircraft please call 02 6452 5999 for airport details

Driving
Hazeldean is located 1.5 hours drive south of Canberra.

From Centennial Park in the centre of Cooma, Sharp Street, take the Monaro Highway (Bombala Street) towards Nimmitabel for 1.5km towards the edge of town. Turn right onto Maffra Road (also named Church Road and Bobundara Road). Hazeldean is 14km from this turn-off on the right hand side.

NSW - Springdale

Adelong

Hazeldean purchased Springdale in 2013, a property in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains near Adelong in NSW and is managed by John Waterhouse. 

Springdale is 1,050 hectares and has an annual average rainfall of 800mm.

SA - Gumbowie

Willalooka

Hazeldean Angus continues it's commitment to beef producers in South Australia and western Victoria with a joint venture with Guy and Sarah Cunningham.

Hazeldean bulls are sent to Gumbowie as weaners and grown out to sale. 

Prior to the sale each year in early February Hazeldean SA is involved in The South East Beef Week Field Days where cattle producers can inspect the Hazeldean Sale bulls and females.

QLD - Northern Performance Bull Sales

Drillham

The Hazeldean Northern Performance Bull Sale is held at Mundibulanga which is located 7kms south of Drillham off the Warrego Highway, 240 km west of Toowoomba. Up to 200 Hazeldean Angus bulls are auctioned at this sale.

Hazeldean has held the annual Hazeldean Northern Performance Bull sale in Queensland since 1997 when the first sale was held at Kingsthorpe near Toowoomba.
